Weekly Inspiration: In Takashi Kitajima's photos he uses longer exposures to make circular rings of light in every picture. The colors and contrast between each color really draws your eyes and gives me a spirited feeling. Here are some of his pictures: http://portfolio.takashikitajima.com/happy

Suren Manvelyan's photography consists of a lot of pictures of different eyes from animals and humans too. I only see a big green eye with what looks like a lot of texture and I would not have guessed it to be a crocodile without the caption he gave to the picture. I think the texture in the eye looks interesting and distinct. It gives me the feeling like something scary is watching me.
My favorite photo of these is the second one because i liked how all the different colors of crooked lines lead to one area that kind of smears into the top corner of the picture. On the camera I had to make sure the exposure was right and the timing and in Lightroom I adjusted the exposure of the background to make it darker and the clarity so that the light streaks were more visible.

"The famous Shotover River canyon. Yes we shot here – with those sick-ass 700hp jet boats. It was a face-melter. Just check out the color of that water." Chase Jarvis
Jarvis's photography brings me a sense of peace and much of it consists of environmental images. The view point at which the photo was taken makes me wonder how the got a shot from the center high above the river. The luminance in colors and clarity of water brings out the beauty of it.
